Informational Video Illustration — Maternal Health
This project was created with a local nonprofit dedicated to improving health outcomes and supporting women and families through community-driven initiatives in Africa.
I created the illustrations for an informational video explaining how supporters can help women during childbirth in Africa through a birthing companion program. The project focused on communicating complex healthcare and cultural concepts through clear, accessible visuals.
Working closely with the team, I helped refine the storyboarding and narrative, while developing the visual direction. I designed the characters, environments, and supporting elements, and established colour and typography choices. Each scene was built with modular, moveable characters, backgrounds, and objects so an animator could efficiently bring the story to life.

Guide Design & Illustration — Care Investment Advocacy
This project involved the design of a comprehensive guide supporting global advocacy for investments in care work. The publication highlights the importance of strengthening care systems, improving working conditions for care workers, and expanding access to public care services worldwide.
I designed the layout, illustration, and branding for the guide, translating dense policy and research content into a clear visual language that supports accessibility and engagement for a global audience.
The illustrations center around a set of main characters designed to reflect the diversity of the global care workforce and communities they support. Characters represent a range of cultures, countries, genders, and abilities, helping the visuals feel internationally inclusive and relatable across different contexts. A cohesive visual system – including colour, typography, icons, and illustrations – ties the publication together and supports clear navigation throughout the guide.
